Real estate purchase in Europe: difficult fiscal rules
A communication of the European Commission shows that she wishes to reduce the administrative obstacles. She suggests taking new measures to facilitate the resolution of the cross-border disputes between companies, limit their costs and reduce the administrative formalities with which are confronted the living, working persons or travelling in the other countries of the EU. To buy an immovable property can also engender a double taxation. The Commission notices that " the citizens who acquire foreign real estates are often excluded from the profit of the tax exemptions or have to pay real estate taxes higher than the residents ". The Commission thus wishes to reach a Round Table between States and concerned with in particular the proposition of implementation of " typical forms for the statements and the fiscal claims ". |
