New competition eco-districts
To incite cities to create ecological districts, Benoist Apparu, Secretary of State in charge of the Accommodation, announced the launch of a second call for projects Ecodistricts. The ambition of the Ministry of Ecology and the Accommodation is to equal even to surpass Germany or Scandinavian countries in this domain. Cities can present their projects until April 15th, 2011 and experts' committee will reward the best at the end of the summer, 2011, this " to go more to the exemplary nature and the excellence of the projects " according to Benoist Apparu. |
