National plan fast floods
The " national Plan fast floods " was validated by the Prime Minister further to the dialogue which lasted of July, 2010 in this February 2011. It is after the storm Xynthia and 53 persons died in Vendée and Charente-Maritime that the government throws a plan in risk prevention of flood, by the voice of the Minister of the Sustainable development and the Ecology, Nathalie Kosciusko-Morizet, who declared that there " is henceforth a front and one after Xynthia ". She also indicates that " this plan has for objective to protect the populations and to reassure the whole territory ". The State promises " the completion of the census of dikes by the end of the first quarter 2011 " and makes a commitment for " 1200 km of works of confortement of works ". |
