Roland Garros stays in Paris

 
The French Federation of Tennis made its decision on February 13th, 2011: the tournament of Roland-Garros will stay Door of Auteuil in Paris. Bertrand Delanoë, Mayor of Paris, declared: " in spite of it very high quality of the rival projects which I wish to greet, the FFT privileged to 70 % the loyalty in the history of this tournament but also the conviction which to stay in Paris, in the prestigious frame of the Door of Auteuil, establishes a main advantage in the competition in lauqelle are engaged the big international tennis tournaments ". The surface of Roland-Garros will cross 8,5 to 13,5 hectares with the planned renovation, is a project smaller but much less expensive than the others.
