Real estate diagnosis natural and technological Risks
 

 

A diagnosis of state of the natural and technological risks is compulsory for the sale or for renting any property situated in a seismic zone or being the object of a natural or technological plan of risk prevention.

 

It is to be realized by the owner, by filling a form on the basis of the order of the prefect of the municipality in which the property is located. These documents are given free of charge in the town hall or the concerned prefecture or on their web site.

 

This diagnosis allows informing the future buyer or the tenant of the risks to which the accommodation is opposed and is to be added to the sales agreement or the lease. It is very important to annex it; otherwise, the responsibility of the seller can be committed for latent defects.

 

Its duration of validity is of 6 months.
