The Banque de France invites banks to move on credit

 
The Government of the Banque de France, Christian Noyer, on Friday called on Europe 1 French banks to move on credit to businesses and individuals, asking them to be more active.

"I expect banks to be more active in lending to the economy," he urged.

 

"That's why we lend them money, they are ready to very good conditions and that they guarantee it for several years," he added.

 

MWalnut was referring to the exceptional measures implemented by the European Central Bank (ECB), which lends at a fixed rate, unlimited amount, one day, one week, one month, three months, six months, one year and three years.

 

The governor wants the French banks' move, they are active, they are really aggressive in lending both to businesses and individuals ".

 

The latest indicators published by the Bank of France show that credit continues to grow, but their rate of increase tends to be slow, especially with regard to business.
