PARIS, May 9th, 2012 - a commitment to sell on the ground intended for the construction of Arena 92 was signed according to the Public corporation of Defense the Seine Arche or Epadesa. This stage of 40.000 places is made to receive the matches Rugby of the Racing-Subway and spectacles as from 2015.
This contract was signed with Ovalto Investissement, the holding of Jacky Lorenzetti chair Racing-Subway 92 and business man. This commitment to sell was done following the downgrading and of the release of the influences which are with the foot of the large Arch on Nanterre according to Epadesa. No information was however given concerning the amount of this contract.
This future stage will be equipped with a retractable roof and the value of the works is evaluated to 320 million euros. Arena 92 will be one of the most important stages in Europe in terms of capacity for the spectacles, because it contains 40.000 places in mode “indoor” and 32.000 places in stage mode. It will receive approximately twenty spectacles per annum and several meetings of Rugby.
The Arena 92 whose construction is ensured by the Group of BTP Vinci and the drawing made by the architect Christian de Portzamparc will also close again trade. 33.000 m of offices, a brewery, a gourmet restaurant and also and especially the shop club Racing Subway 92.
Acri-freedom an association of the people who reside in the surroundings stated to have deposited a recourse within the administrative court of Cergy-Pontoise. This recourse was deposited with an aim of making cancel the construction of Arena92, because according to them this project does not respect the orientations of installation of the reach development concerted.
In the month of October 2011, a similar recourse had already been made by this association whose reason is the dispute of the modification of the Local plan of town planning. |
