RIO OF JANEIRO, May 11th, 2012 - To the hospital for ten days, Oscar Niemeyer, 104 years the Brazilian architect has wanted to leave. During a routine control carried out by the doctors, the health condition of the architect is considered to be stable and it wishes to return to the house as soon as possible in order to be able to resume work.
The health of Mr. Niemeyer clearly improved according to the statements made by its doctor, Fernando Gjorup. The famous architect who conceived Brasília affirmed to want to leave the hospital as quickly as possible to take again to work at the time of a phone conversation with Kadu Niemeyer his grandson.
Old 66 years, Vera the second woman of Mr. Niemeyer and its Kadu grandson frequently visits him since her hospitalization. To take again in hand his projects in progress, the architect affirmed to want to leave the hospital. These projects are the construction of “churrascaria Porcaon” a restaurant of meat with Rion and launching the new edition of my review “Nosso Caminho” or translated into French “Our way”.
It is because of a dehydration and of a pneumonia that Oscar Niemeyer was hospitalized, this architect realized more than 600 works a little everywhere in the world and currently it is still in load of a score of projects. The health condition of Mr. Niemeyer improved much and it is perfectly lucid. Currently, it follows an antibiotic treatment serum by intravenous way according to the statements made by Dr. Gjorup.
Even if there is nothing any more to fear on the health of Mr. Niemeyer, its exit of hospital were not envisaged yet. To avoid any complication, the doctors wanted to keep it at the hospital according to the statements made by the press service of the Oscar Niemeyer Foundation. |
